MODES hosts an evening for PACO RABANNE during MFW
Milan, 23 September 2022 - The revered French label infused Milan Fashion Week with a touch of Parisian avant-garde during a special event held at the MODES flagship.
The evening was all about showcasing the brand’s iconic aesthetics via familiar silhouettes and fresh proposals. Displayed on a central platform with a silver mirror and pink carpet finish against a shiny metal curtain, the Iconic Capsule made its worldwide debut with a line-up of some of Creative Director Julien Dossena’s most memorable designs, all crafted from the signature metal mesh. Launched as part of the collaboration, three exclusive styles were created for MODES in a soft yet striking pink hue echoed throughout the installation: a top and shorts set, as well as a new variation on the Pixel bag.
Outside, the takeover continued with a selection of FW22 runway looks in every window. The Piazza Risorgimento kiosk was also decked out in pink to complete the picture. Guests enjoyed tunes by DJ Andrea Ratti while sipping on pink cocktails.
“MODES provides the ideal space and freedom to celebrate iconic brands and gather the creative community around a shared love for their aesthetics and vision. Paco Rabanne has delivered some of the most famous designs in history and today Julien Dossena keeps this legacy alive while pushing the fashion dialogue forward.” - Aldo Carpinteri, MODES Founder & CEO
