🕊️ In memory of Arnaldo Pomodoro (1926–2025)

This evening, the great Maestro Arnaldo Pomodoro passed away in Milan at the age of 99. With him, the world loses not just an extraordinary sculptor, but a visionary whose sharp, tactile language of bronze and voids transformed the landscape of contemporary art.

At French Fries, we remember Pomodoro not only for the iconic geometry of his spheres and spires, but for the power of his ideas—rooted in a belief that art must be part of an active, living cultural fabric. As he once said:

“The best is yet to come: this has only been a beginning… the project—aimed at young people and the future—must take root, making continuity an essential element.”

This spirit of openness, experimentation, and future-thinking resonates deeply with us.

Thank you, Arnaldo, for carving space for generations to come.
Your legacy lives on—not only in museums and piazzas, but in the minds of all who dare to imagine radically, sculpt boldly, and build with purpose.
