Zero Contact

‘’To get to see you, to get to touch you, I had to dream about you.’’ At first glance, the idea of a platonic relationship with zero contact and just pure feelings sounds quite romantic. However, romance gives way to bitterness in the blink of an eye when the dire consequences of social distancing and self-isolation are unveiled. In this French Fries editorial, photographer Anna Garbowsk deeply touches our souls with a series of pictures that portray model Lucia Johnson - styled by Stasi Berezovskaya, coiffed by Nami Harada and embellished by Monica Wu makeup - in a broken dance under the pale light of a year that has reached the end. Without resisting, she accepts unarmed what comes next.
