Winter In My Heart

In this French Fries editorial, photographer Riri Awata imagines nostalgia from embracing the spur of a remembered vision. The whimsical note of the shoot, drawn from hair and makeup Tsukushi Tomita, assistant Riko Imai, and stylist Sho Furukawa’s prowess and fashion names such as Mikio Sakabe, Non Tokyo, Akane Utsunomiya, Somarta, and Yohei Ohno to name a few, wafts through the viewers’ gaze. Model Chiharu welcomes the haze and vividness of the fantasy, lingering still to allow the deep sleep to dawn. This is her wintry dream.
