Pearl Planet
The planet of pearls is the planet of woman.
The jewel used in this editorial, through lights, colours and poses, dominates the scene.
The pearl is a lunar symbol, linked to water and women. This represents the Yin principle, the feminine principle.
It is no coincidence that the protagonists of this quasi-cinematographic story are two women, who are in a strong contrast of three simple colours.
The delicate pearl blends with black couches that emphasises the strength of the poses: almost as if the two were peace and war at the same time.
The Art Direction by KimMoonDog & Miai Jeong Jeong has certainly grasped the essence of women’s strength.
