The Considered

Colours are a language that evokes emotions. This French Fries editorial, shot by photographer Assiah Alcázar, depicts model Marta Marghidanu against three different coloured backgrounds: red, yellow and blue. She moves with the camera as if she were dancing to her favourite hit in a fancy club, wearing the bright and shiny attires picked by stylist Andrea Hierro. Silvina Souza's hair and makeup add even more 80s vibes to the whole look.

In this scenario, primary colours take on a symbolic value representing the vastness of human personality. Blue is the colour that best symbolises peace and tranquillity. Despite being a cold tone, on a psychological level, it is associated wit h spirituality and sensitivity. Red is the colour of energy, strength and passion. It is a drive to action towards revolutionary change. Last but not least, yellow is a bright and suggestive colour suited for an open, relaxed and powerful personality. It is the colour of the sun, of summer and momentary happiness.
