Troubles like Gypsies in the Night

“This gypsy heart just needs to wander. Wander to undiscovered mountains and caves that guard the mysteries of this world.

I will unturn every stone,

I will walk every unpacked path,

I will dive through the darkest seas

Just to discover the secrets that were only meant for me.”

-Chrissie Pinney

“Troubles like Gypsies in the Night”, shot by Gabby Sep, styled by Callum Smith, with a layout by Beatrice Panero, perfectly embodies the spirit of this poem by Chrissie Pinney.

The models are free souls, bodies that move in space and play, have fun. With hair by Connor Sir London and make-up by Mary D'Alise, the models wear avant-garde clothing (by Wesley Stuart Hartwell, Filipe Cerejo, Eirinn Hayhow, and other up-and-coming designers) and, as members of a futuristic rock band, they dance to a music that only they can hear: the sound of youth, life, fun. Staring at the camera the boys and the girls seem to say: "hey, we're going to get in trouble!". It is the beauty of being young free souls.
