PETITE MELLER interprets ALABAMA MUSE in the fashion film of the FW21 Collection HOW COULD YOU LEAVE ME?

Alabama Muse chooses Petite Meller, the most cosmopolitan and coolest singer in the world, as the star of its creative images for the FW 2021 collection featured in the fashion film presented during Milano Moda Donna.

The eccentric and vibrant story provides imaginative glimpses bordering on a dream world, with roots in the background of the animal-friendly fur brand made in Italy. Blending fashion, music and film, it takes a novel journey in which freedom inspired by rock and rebellious, unconventional joie de vivre are the only paths to follow. At the center is Petite Meller, the Parisian artist with Israeli passport living in Los Angeles, a Lolita in technicolor whose chameleonic and unconventional personality makes her the perfect protagonist for the underground aesthetics of the brand.

The lost highway from Florence to Versilia of the unpredictable fur-draped Venus relies on pop- style storytelling that blends atmospheres of David Lynch and Quentin Tarantino with the retro taste of distinctive Italian flicks of the 70s and is filmed by the talented Lapo Quagli of Florence. Different chapters marked by as many styles of furs of the brand accompany the road trip where everything and its opposite is true, and where nothing is as it seems...or is it? In the pop setting of the city, Baby Love moves behind the wheel of a classic car, she eats candy, she brazenly plays basketball, unfazed by male gazes, and she takes mug shots. But will she give up her identity? While she browses through a score of Chopin in front of the sea, her escape is interrupted by a secret call. Hello, mom? Yes, I'll come for dinner. Love you!

From Florence to Versilia, the naive charm of Petite Meller, with her diaphanous skin warmed by blush, is amplified by the underground universe of Alabama Muse, with its vivid, rock furs, through iconic styles that feature combinations of different furs, with striking volumes and contrasting colors, with glamorous but strictly sustainable experimentation that, this season, also adds accessories. The eccentric divertissement unfolds in the midst of collars large and small, eco-fur totes, stoles in a contrasting color to break up looks, and ladylike gloves in a wide range of eco leathers. Petite wears hats like a style manifesto: wide-brimmed styles and others that ironically interpret the sailor look with an animal print twist.

The Alabama Muse fashion film unites the creativity of Alice Gentilucci, the artistic director of Alabama Muse, with the chameleonic and instinctive freedom of Petite Meller, who doesn't give a whit about convention and only does what she wants, while having fun.
