The Day After Tomorrow

“Nothing like this has ever happened.”

It is a quote by a movie, by Roland Emmerich, that shares the same title with this editorial. Everything flows and nothing will ever be the same. Sometimes the changes scare us, but the results could be even better than our yesterday, our past.

In a post-apocalyptic and dramatic scenario, the editorial The Day After Tomorrow brings to light a profoundly changed society, but never destroyed: a society in recovery, which tries to adapt, without losing the joy of living with courage.

Every image tells a small story with great attention to detail, as well as every scenography is set up without neglecting the smallest element.

Daniele Golia's photography underlines a meticulous work behind the balance of lights, shades and single set. The styling, by Stela Plaka, is diligently curated for and enriched with details, military accessories and sartorial and authentic jackets, which give to the model Nathalie Rianne strength and fierceness.

The make-up, by the professionalism of Nathaly Bondat, mitigates the consequences of an apocalypse with avant-gardist colors and shapes. Layout by Beatrice Panero.
