We Born Twice
Shot by Alba Camara, this editorial titled “We Born Twice” is concentrated on the relationship between Emilia and Andrés, a mature lady and a young boy dressed in colors. The two protagonists share a colorful mise that goes well with the colorful background, made up of plants, paintings, sculptures.
The two drink tea, talk and think, sharing moments of life. In addition to being a representation of the love that binds those who are supposedly a grandmother and his grandson, "We Born Twice" is meant to be a mirror of society. The passing of the baton from an elegant generation, made of solid values and traditionalist rituals, to a modern, fresh one, open to innovation and the future (well represented by bright colors) is the fulcrum of the editorial. The old lady laughs, she lets herself go with the wind, returning to a lost youth, thanks to the boy's freshness; the young man, on the other hand, listens to her stories, learns, symbolically, to pour five o'clock tea under the watchful eye of his grandmother. It is a clear example of how young and old have to confront each other because only in this way can the world improve.
