From “kryptikós” derivative of “krýptō” , which in Ancient Greek means “to hide” - unclear, obscure, incomprehensible. "Cryptic" means mystery. This word means a desire to know what is not supposed to be known. "Cryptic" is the title of this editorial, shot and styled by Enrico Bellenghi, with the participation of stylist Elvis Furlan and assistant Alessandro Rossato.

Models Marica and Chrystyna, impersonate two rebellious figures, two anarchists. The girls are immersed in a space without place and without time, where any sense of democracy, of fairness, is now lost. In the background, the remnants of an ended protest. They are still standing, straight and proud. They take the megaphones, scream, shout. They take possession of every space: one hangs from a gate, another challenges the observer leaning against a low wall, with a provocative gaze in her eyes.

Leather jackets decorated with graffiti, fishnet stockings, big black boots. Tops that look like chains, worn with "X" shaped nipple covers: prohibition. Torn shirts, studded belts, biker gloves. The clothes communicate a desire for rebellion, a manifestation of strength and temperance. Combined with make-up in shades of black created by make-up artist Lisa Lanziani, the garments contribute to making the atmosphere that of a modern war on injustice.

"Cryptic" hides a need for escape, a scream, a lament, towards a society that must listen more to young people, must devote space to them, because they are the future.
