Pilgrim

The journey to a sacred place, a self discovery. Photography by Hayato gives a nod to the peace within a journey of Pilgrim. The oneness and the stillness of the discovery through this journey is reflected in the silence of these images. Styling from Yuri Nosho on model, Mary Nouchi and hair and makeup by Kabuki Ryota, reflects the Pilgrim witches of the 1600’s, a flashback to an experience of our ancestors. These women paved the way for freedom and expression. There was no fear behind their eyes, a true fighter for their beliefs. The freedom that each of these images represent was formed from repression and hatred, a pain endured through time. A belief suppressed until the magic was dimmed and silenced out but that magic remains in us all deep down, a force that drives us to fight for our beliefs, the passion to carry on through the bad, to reach the sacred place. The journey to our pilgrim is never ending.
