Jesus he loves me
I pray
Undeserving and stubbornly
Never fail to love me still
Repeat Yes, Jesus loves me
Whitney Houston sang part of the poem by Anna Bartlett Warner, alluding to the fact that nobody is alone, because there will always be a Jesus in our own life next to us who will not make us feel lost. Each of us can allegorically choose his own lifeline, a person who will love us unconditionally for who we are: beautiful, ugly, sensitive or monstrous ones.
This is what happens in the last editorial for French Fries Magazine: the handsome and androgynous model Mame Anta Wade performs a considerable variety of characters and personalities, embodying whoever she feels to be in her eccentric, eclectic and colorful mises. Stela Plaka chooses bright and showy garments, and also patterns and fabrics that define her styling as distinctive and recognizable. Gaudy accessories contribute to the construction of the role-playing game.
Photographer Andrea Squeo dabbled in this project, trying to grasp the several facets of the model, highlighting radiant colors and drawing attention to the glowing makeup by Elisa Piras.
