“Abandon all hope” – Dante

With that poignant title we introduce you to this French Fries editorial, which (on the contrary to what you might believe) is all about hope. This is actually a story about second chances. It is a reminder that even after our misdeeds have flooded our world, both figuratively and literally, there is always room for revival and renewal. Our photographer and art director Liliana Osorio depicts a steady calmness, one that might firmly follow an apocalypse. It’s as if we’ve been given a blank page where we can start anew. Model Beatriz de Paz, with the help of hair & makeup artist Andrea Moreno Fare and jewelry by Juliette Gamra, portrays the mundane beauty that still emerges even in the most unlikely places, and is eternally hope seeking.
