Radioactivity tuning to the melody
Radioactivity
Tune in to the melody
Radioactivity
Is in the air for you and me
So the Kraftwerk group sings in the song Radioactivity, which begins as a reflection on the wonder of science. The continuing nuclear accidents and fear over what this science could bring, however, would leave a lasting imprint on society. As in the song as in this editorial, the theme of radiation is addressed with childish curiosity, with hope and optimism, hoping that certain disasters can be avoided in the future, placing hope in progress and amazement in the face of some scientific discoveries and phenomena.
In front of the lens of the photographer Jana Baracatt Jackson, the model Ella Taylor via Select Model Management performs in these images with harmony, almost as if the posing reflects a melody that cannot be heard but only perceived. Styling, by Chloe Winona Poynton and her assistant Maysie Mountifield, magically expresses this perception, reconciling soft colors with delicate and romantic patterns. Everything is made magically fairytale by makeup by Livvie Dawson and hairstyle by Grace Tame.
