Romantic Ruin

In this dream, we see that model Oleg Gulida is seen harmonised with an abandoned Dreamscape- a romantic ruin. We see an alternative interpretation of Neverland; a lost boy who is hardened and slightly grown but still retaining a youthful retaliative attitude through the styling and atmosphere, just enough to detach us from the reality that he resides in.

The intuitive styling by Kseniya Rain and guiding photography by Panina Olga work in unison to create looks that are reminiscent of all things natural, where the garments almost blend and characterise the surroundings of each frame. It is almost as if behind the scenes, you could catch a glimpse of flittering pixies and fairies that confirm a Midsummer Night’s Dream. The protruding mysticism of the editorial is especially accentuated by Rybachuk Marina, who creates soft and lyrical touches in one shot, contrasted with smokey and rebellious make-up in another other, perhaps echoing a limbo state of being a youth and coming of age.
