Spirit Twin single “Speak About” hypnotized listeners with simplistic beauty.

Spend any time with them and it becomes clear that Spirit Twin are two words you

will be repeating like a mantra.

It has been a big year for the Brooklyn based duo, the year when the music industry began to take

notice of their promising talent. No wonder, given that through out the year they released a selection of

stellar material, including “Our Lady Fatima” , song that was featured in one of the latest Gucci commercials.

How is to grow up in Brooklyn/NYC for an artist?

ALLEN: As a Native New Yorker, I have my bias. I love New York.

It feels different and the same, all at once.

Is there a particular song or musical passage that never fails to move you emotionally?

ALLEN: I feel Love by Donna Summer.

Anna: Dream Fortress by Grimes.

How did you meet?

ANNA: We met at a tournament style haiku competition.

ALLEN: It was all poetry from there.

What do you appreciate the most about one another?

ALLEN: Anna’s intuition. She always knows when it’s time to act and when it’s time to listen.It’s a quality I look up to.

ANNA: Allen’s determination and talent. His work ethic is a huge motivator for me.

If you could blink your eyes and be in a favorite place right now, where it would be?

ALLEN: Here with Anna.

ANNA: Hiking upstate on a nice day.

Where would you like to find yourselves in ten years?

ALLEN: Helping people.

ANNA: Well travelled and perhaps owning our own production studio.

Last, but not least, what’re your favorite Fries?

ALLEN: In-N-Out Animal Style Fries. It’s on their “secret menu”.

As in, you just have to know about it.

ANNA: Same!
