Can you describe yourself in one sentence?

Bedazzle and noodle lover who will work harder than anyone to be able to do what I love every day.

Why do you write? Is it a necessity or fun?

Songwriting has always been so therapeutic for me. I write because it genuinely helps me get through whatever I’m going through. It’s something I look forward to doing every single day.

What’s your recipe for creating a song?

It’s honestly different every single time, but my favorite way to write is coming in with a concept that I relate to. It could be as simple as a word one of my friends will say in a casual conversation, and I'm like, "Oh - that would be a good song title!" Or it could be something more complex like a breakup where I'm writing through all the emotions I'm experiencing then.

Are you disastrously messy or obsessively tidy?
I'm very organized when it comes to anything but my room. I keep a lot of notebooks and journals that I like to write everything in to keep me on track.

In a world that revolves around social media, what should be public and private?
I have a very unique relationship with my fans. I like to show them all parts of my life. We're on Zoom calls all the time hanging out! I think special moments can always be kept private, but when it comes to big achievements in celebrations, I like to celebrate with them. Being vulnerable in my music and with my fans has been a huge part of my journey.

Is there something others don't understand about you?
I’m very sensitive, but I feel like everyone in my life who’s around me knows that.

Are your lyrics always autobiographical?
I’d say for the most part. There are times that I have pulled inspiration from the hours of conversations I and my best friend have on FaceTime.

Will your sound continue to evolve? On which road?
My sound will always continue to evolve as I do. I always want to change and try new things and I think that’s such a particular part of music. I don’t ever want to be stuck in one genre.

A memory from your childhood and how much it affected you.
I still remember when I was really little I used to love jumping on my bed and singing Somewhere Over The Rainbow and watching The Wizard of Oz! I have always loved singing and that's one of the most distinct memories that got me excited to pursue a music career.

Did the success catch you off guard? How did you feel?
I don’t think it caught me off guard. I truly believe that you have to work as hard as you can until you get what you want. I worked so hard for this and seeing everything happen has been the most amazing experience. I am so grateful for all the love and support my noodles have shown me.

How difficult is it to be an independent artist? Have you experienced hard times?
It takes a lot of work! There are always hard times, but at the end of the day there’s nothing I love more than what I do, so I know all the hard work will pay off.

A phrase or quote from your favorite book.

Have you ever written a love letter?
So many! Speaking of, I write custom love letters to my noodles all the time!

In ten years, how and where will you be?
In ten years I want to be the biggest artist in the world.

If the song Promise Ring were to be a perfume, what would it smell like?
It would smell like sweet revenge.

What does Claude Levi-Strauss' phrase “I am the place where something happens” bring to mind?
The quote everything happens for a reason.

The first thing that comes to mind when you start writing a new song.
My ex.

What connection do you have with your fans?
I have such an amazing connection with them. I love my noodles so so much and I make sure to take the time to make every one of them know how much I appreciate them.

What kind of influence would you like to have on your peers?
I want everyone to realize they are not alone and we all go through the same things together.

Favorite moment during your performance?
My favorite moment is always taking out my in-ears and hearing the crowd sing back the lyrics. It’s the most amazing feeling I’ve ever felt.

Do you have a superstition or good luck charm?
My good luck charm is making a wish at 11:11. 24 is also my lucky number, so I have a really good feeling about 2024!
