Stella McCartney collaborates with Taylor Swift for a sustainable collection
Words by Guilherme Ferrari
With the release of her new album “Lover”, Taylor Swift launched a merchandise collection of clothing and accessories inspired by her new era. Created with eco-friendly materials and influenced by the new lyrics, the capsule collection includes pieces designed by British designer Stella McCartney with vintage graffiti, rainbow and tie-dye band t-shirts, sweaters, hats and bags.
The partnership came after Swift and McCartney met at one of Swift's concerts in London and the launch coincides with the release of her new album and will be available at “The Lover Experience” Pop Up Shop in New York City from Aug. 23 to 25, and for online pre-order until Aug. 29. Stella McCartney works with sustainable materials and the collection with Taylor has also followed this line. The pieces were produced with organic cotton and do not have animal leather or skin in their composition.
The entire StellaxTaylorSwift lookbook is on Swift's website. While there are only two items available at McCartney’s online store, the collection will also be available at her New York and London shops.
