Meryl Meisler Returns to the Night at CPW

At Center for Photography at Woodstock in Kingston, Meryl Meisler presents Queer-Friendly Nightlife Now, premiering within the inaugural Upstate Photography Biennial — a new 39-artist exhibition.

Nearly fifty years after documenting New York’s disco scene, Meisler returns with a new body of work capturing contemporary queer nightlife. Shot with the same analog camera and flash, her images move between performance and intimacy—tracing a living community shaped by memory, resilience, and presence.
